You are choosing to switch to a different OtterQuote contractor. Here is exactly what happens:
What changes immediately:
- Your current contract is voided
- Your project returns to open bidding for the entire contractor network
- Your original contractor is notified and released from the project
- Their platform fee is refunded in full — you are not charged
You will receive bids from other qualified contractors in your area. Once you select a new contractor, a new contract will be sent for signing.
⏱ This option is available up to 3 days before your scheduled installation date. After that cutoff, switching is no longer available.
You do not need to contact your current contractor directly — OtterQuote handles the entire transition.
