No. OtterQuote is NOT a public adjuster. We don't file claims, negotiate with carriers, or handle settlements. We help homeowners get the best contractor after they've filed their own claim. Your clients remain in control throughout the entire process.
Will this create any compliance issues?
OtterQuote's referral program is designed for transparency. Commissions are paid for completed jobs, not for steering clients. However, we recommend reviewing the program terms with your compliance team.
What if my client doesn't have their insurance estimate yet?
No problem. OtterQuote has a "Help Me" flow that assists homeowners in requesting their estimate from their adjuster. We guide them through the process so they can continue without waiting.
Do my clients pay anything?
Hover measurements are optional and paid upfront (rebated if they use an OtterQuote contractor). The bidding and contract process is 100% free. Your clients pay nothing unless they choose to add measurements, which helps contractors provide more accurate bids.
