Platform Agreements

By joining Otter Quotes, you agree to the terms of the Otter Quotes Contractor Partner Agreement. You will also be asked to sign it via DocuSign when your first project is matched. The platform fee is 5% of the insurance estimate (RCV) for insurance jobs and 5% of your bid for retail/cash jobs.
Homeowners may switch to a different contractor in our network up to 3 days before their scheduled installation date, no questions asked. If this occurs: Otter Quotes handles the switch entirely, your platform fee is refunded in full, and the homeowner selects another contractor.
A platform fee refund is your sole remedy if a homeowner exercises this right.
Otter Quotes is a contractor matching and payments platform. By accepting below, you personally and on behalf of the business attest that:
- You hold all licenses required in every jurisdiction where you work.
- You carry CGL insurance of at least $1M/$2M with Stellar Edge Services, LLC as additional insured.
- You will comply with Indiana Code 24-5-11 on every Indiana project and all equivalent laws in other states.
- You will indemnify and hold harmless Stellar Edge Services, LLC from claims arising from your work, licensing failures, or law violations. This indemnity is joint and several and survives termination.
Electronic acceptance constitutes your signature under the E-SIGN Act and UETA.
Otter Quotes uses SMS to notify you of new project opportunities, bid updates, and important platform communications.

Upload the contract you use with homeowners. This is the agreement they will sign on Otter Quotes — your contract, your terms. Upload is required to complete your application. You can add additional templates for other trade and funding-type combinations later in your profile.
Your standard contract PDF for your primary trade and funding type. Otter Quotes auto-fills the homeowner's name, address, project details, and your bid fields via DocuSign — but the contract terms are yours, drafted or reviewed by your attorney. We do not draft or provide homeowner-contractor contracts.
